Three questions about Futurism
1. Why were the Futurists so patriotic and chauvinistic? Do not patriotism and chauvinism lead to xenophobia and misogyny?
2. When a Futurist wrote/painted/sculpted/composed something, didn't it automatically pass from the future to the past? So did the Futurists just create new Pasts and betray their manifesto?
3. Umberto Boccioni was a horse-lover, and yet he died from a riding injury - was this a statement from him? Was his death his final artwork?
